Questions About Your Shoot?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I book a family photography session?

Easy! Get in touch via the website’s ‘contact me’ form, email me or call me. From here we can discuss your ideas and schedule a date and time that suits you and your family.

A $50 booking fee is required to lock and secure your preferred date and time. This amount is fully refundable providing you cancel 48 hours prior to your shoot.

How do I get my photographs after the shoot?

Once I’ve had time to edit your photographs (this takes me around 2 weeks depending on how busy it is), I will send you a link to your online gallery where you will be able to view all of the best photographs from our shoot.

Depending on the package you have purchased, you will receive a minimum of 10, to a maximum of over 100 images. These are available for you to download and are included in your package – so there are no hidden fees!

What should we wear to our Family Photoshoot?

The possibilities are endless. Most importantly, you need to feel comfortable and wear something you feel represents you and your family. If you are a dress up kind of family, pop on some nice dresses and a nice suit.

If you are more of a casual kind of family, wear your jeans and matching coloured t-shirts, match everybody’s outfit colours or use monotone colours – the possibilities are as many as there are personalities out there.

I only have one advice – avoid bold patterns and logos, as they can be very distracting.

My skin is breaking out at the moment, can you edit the pictures and get rid of the imperfections?

Although I do prefer to keep the images as authentic as possible, I will remove minor blemishes, so you don’t have to worry about documenting pimple you woke up with on the day of your shoot.

I don’t airbrush your skin or edit out things like scars or birthmarks though because I feel that they are part of that person and I want to document YOU.

In saying this, if there is anything that really bothers you, please don’t hesitate to bring it up with me. I am here, after all, to document your memories, for you.

Our baby/toddler/child is very vivacious, what if we cannot get any photographs?

My motto when photographing children is “let them kids”. Besides, I do have a few tricks up my sleeves when it comes to little ones, so leave this to your local family photographer to worry about!

Can you provide prints or frames?

Yes, I can! I work with a local photography printing lab here in Perth and can provide high-quality prints, frames and other photography products. Have a chat with me about it!

Can i bring the whole family?

As we’re limited to 45 minutes having any more than 6 people is not going to give you the best results.

Especially if you have little ones who might take some time to get settled into the shoot.
