Capturing Candid Moments You’ll Love

Time flies for all of us.

You blink and your children have grown up some more.

A little bigger, a little taller. Doing their own things.

Can you stop, or slow down time?

Capture today’s moments forever.

What To Expect From Your Shoot

A Perth family photoshoot filled with fun, games and hopefully lots of laughter and silliness. I promise it will not be awkward or boring and I will not force you to pose in ridiculous positions (unless you really want me to).

I will be giving you guys some directions if you need it, but for the most part I really just want you to interact with your family. I want to capture the moments when you tickle, hug and cuddle your children. When they hug you back and smile. I want to capture the little moments you don’t even realise are happening.

With this, I promise that regardless of how hesitant dad is about this photoshoot, we will have a great time and get some amazing photographs along the way.

How Will I Receive My Photos?

Once I’ve had time to edit your photographs (this takes me around 2 weeks depending on how busy it is), I will send you a link to your online gallery where you will be able to view all of the best photographs from our shoot.

Depending on the package you have purchased, you will be able to choose and download a minimum of 15 images from your private online gallery.

Our baby/toddler/child is very vivacious, what if we cannot get any photographs?

I will always get some photographs!! It has happened that a baby has refused to smile throughout. I have had vivacious children, happy children, not so happy children, and you know what common denominators all these shoots have?

We always get something. So don’t worry too much mum & dad, I like to let the vivacious ones lead the shoots. They are the ones that make the most beautiful images.

Kids are natural performers, most of them love to be the centre of attention so rest assure that they will eventually join in and have fun. Just make sure you have plenty of snacks on hand.

No one likes performing on an empty stomach.

What Should We Wear To The Shoot?

Your outfit can really help compliment your photographs and make them the best they can be, so it really is worth thinking about what you are going to wear. If we are doing an outdoor shoot with little ones, please be sure to bring a change of clothes as there is always a good chance we will be getting wet, muddy and dirty. Plus, you know the rule with Murphy’s law, they are bound to spill something on that crisp clean white shirt as soon as you walk out of the house.

The most important thing to consider when dressing for your photoshoot is comfort. If you don’t feel comfortable, chances are you will not look comfortable either.

Colours are an important factor that really help your photographs tie together. Natural fabrics, with natural colours are totally trendy at the moment and look fantastic on camera. You want to avoid big bold logos or big bold patterns as these can be very distracting.

Find a complimenting colour palette that you like and work with it. Mix and match colours. Knits and layers add texture – but make sure you dress appropriately for the weather. If we are having a beach shoot in the late afternoon, bring a knitted jumper that compliments your outfit – it is hard to be happy when you are cold.

If you run out of ideas, give me a buzz, let’s have a chat – or spend a bit of time looking at Pinterest. You are bound to find plenty of ideas there.
